There’s a growing number of celebrities expressing their dislike for Dr. Luke. The most recent comments came from Pink, an artist known for speaking up when she feels passionate about something.
You probably know that Dr. Luke and Kesha have been heavily embroiled in a battle after she alleged that he abused her mentally, physically, and sexually and that he has put up roadblocks in her career in retaliation. In the meantime, Taylor Swift donated $250k to Kesha to help with legal fees and Lady Gaga has been dragged into the court proceedings.
Recently, Kelly Clarkson shared her opinion of the producer saying, “he’s not a good person to me… Obviously he’s a talented dude, but he’s just lied a lot. I’ve come up on a lot of bad situations. Musically, it’s been really hard for me, because he will just lie to people, and it makes the artist look bad. He’s kind of difficult to work with, kind of demeaning.”
Now, in interview with the New York Times, Pink has added fuel to the growing fire and said, “I don’t know what happened but I know that regardless of whether or not Dr. Luke did that (to Kesha), this is his karma and he earned it because he’s not a good person.”
How does she know? They worked together on a few songs including her hit “What About Us?” and now she refuses to collaborate with him at all. “I have told him that to his face and I do not work with him,” the singer explained. “He doesn’t do good business, he’s not a kind person, he doesn’t do the right thing when given ample opportunities to do so, and I don’t really feel that bad for him.”
